Meet Our Student Member Officer Pals
Splash Pals Adapted Aquatics has outstanding student member officers with a wide variety of backgrounds and leadership skills. We are here to assist you in every way possible and retain Lifeguards and CPR Certified individuals at all times to provide a fun AND safe environment.
Sarah Hall
(President)
Sarah was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida. After high school, she went to Florida Gulf Coast University to pursue a major in Health Science and hopefully further her education in Occupational Therapy.
During middle school, she volunteered with the Discovery Program, a school dedicated to working with children with various disabilities. This experience is when she really found her passion in helping others with special needs.
Upon hearing about Splash Pals, Sarah knew the program would create a huge impact on not only our participants but our community as well.
Ally Dotson

Ally was born and raised in south central Florida. After graduating from Hardee Senior High School in 2016 she decided to attend Florida Gulf Coast University. Ally is currently a junior working on her bachelor’s degree in exercise science. She hopes to attend PT school to become a DPT. In high school, she volunteered at her church’s program called “Kids World”. While volunteering there she got the experience of working with kids of all ages and developed a passion for helping others. Ally has also had the experience to teach her own dance classes and coach a soccer team. She said, “you never know what that child’s life is like at school or home so being able to be a positive role model in a child’s life is important to her.” Ally is very excited at the opportunity she has with Splash Pals as a chapter officer and can’t wait to give back to the community.
Bobbi Foote

Bobbi was born and raised in Waldorf, Maryland which is where she still lives outside of attending Florida Gulf Coast University. Her senior year of high school was where she found her love for working with students with disabilities. She applied and was accepted into a program of 4 students from her school where she was able to write lesson plans for her peer high schoolers in the Life Skills classroom, work with them in their adapted P.E class, and participate in after schools adapted sports. Bobbi always knew she wanted to teach, but this experience alone changed her major to Special Education
Bobbi has had lots of education experience through being in Future Educators of America in middle and high school which led to her becoming the Historian of the Student Florida Education Association. She represents FGCU on the state board holding that position. She has been an Resident Assistant, Peer Educator, and is currently in her first internship in a middle school special education classroom. She works closely with other organizations where she holds leadership positions such as Relay For Life and Delta Delta Delta.
She was drawn to Splash Pals through a description of the club given by a professor. She knew this would be an opportunity to create mutually beneficial relationship between college students and students with disabilities. Bobbi is excited for the opportunity to be a member and leader of Splash Pals and help impact the lives in a positive way to those with disabilities.
