Skyler Wilson

(President)

Skylar Wilson was born and raised in Gulf Breeze, Florida. In 2016, after graduating from Gulf Breeze High School, Skylar began studying Exercise Physiology at Florida State University. In addition to her studies, Skylar has also been on the Florida State University Cheerleading Team since 2016. Now, she is pursuing her degree in Exercise Physiology with a double minor in biology and family and child sciences. She hopes to attend medical school and become a physician.          Skylar has spent a great deal of time shadowing doctors in various specialties and hopes to practice medicine in order to care for vulnerable populations. She is also a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta, a pre-medical fraternity which conducts various service events and fundraisers throughout the school year.

Skylar has grown up around the water and has always loved working with children, so Splash Pals has been perfect for Skylar. It has allowed her to give back to her community in a way she loves. Skylar is excited to continue working with and helping to grow the Splash Pals organization in the Tallahassee area.

Christina Vallone

(Vice President)

Tina lived in Port Charlotte, Florida until she moved to Tallahassee to attend FSU. She is currently a sophomore majoring in communication sciences and disorders, with a minor in social work. Throughout her life, Tina knew she wanted to work with children. To prepare for her future career in doing so, she taught English to children in Costa Rica and served as a summer camp counselor.

Tina has continued to pursue service, during her time at FSU. As a freshman, she joined an organization called Camp Kesem, which sends children affected by their parent’s cancer to a free summer camp. She also served as a tutor and mentor for Boys Town. Now, Tina is extremely excited to join Splash Pals as a chapter officer. Throughout the many pool sessions, Tina has really enjoyed watching the kids grow and have fun!

Julia Feurich

(Outreach Coordinator)

Julia was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida. She attended Wellington High School where Julia was a member of the Pre-Veterinary Program where she added extra science classes to my course load to help her pursue her dreams of becoming a nurse and care taker. Julia is now Sophomore at Florida State University where she majors in Family and Child Sciences, with a Minor in Philosophy. After graduation Julia plans to attend an accelerated nursing program and earn an extra degree in nursing.

Julia has always loved working with children and has some experience working with children with disabilities. When she heard about Splash Pals it seemed like the perfect opportunity and she has loved going to the pool since her very first session. Julia is very excited to see how the program grows and hopes that as the outreach coordinator she is able aid in that growth.
